This is an exciting opportunity to combine your leadership, operational, and swimming expertise in a supportive, health-focused environment.

This is a blended position with responsibility for both duty management across the centre and the development and delivery of our swimming programme. You'll work across departments to ensure the day-to-day running of the centre is smooth and safe, while also leading our swim offering to inspire people of all ages to develop life-saving skills and confidence in the water.

Key Responsibilities

As Swim Manager, you will:

  • Manage the swim school programme, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and safety

  • Support, motivate, and manage the team of swim teachers, driving engagement and development

  • Deliver and exceed commercial targets by growing participation, improving retention, and managing budgets

  • Ensure all teaching is in line with ASA/STA standards and deliver training where required

As Duty Manager, you will:

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming environment for all members

  • Lead by example, delivering exceptional customer service and encouraging the same from your team

  • Support team performance and play a key role in achieving sales, service, and operational KPIs

  • Act as a keyholder, responsible for opening/closing the facility and overseeing shift activities

What We're Looking For

  • A current and valid Lifeguard qualification (essential)

  • A Level 2 Swim Teacher qualification (ASA or STA) is desirable

  • Experience managing a team or swim programmes is a plus

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • A proactive, safety-first mindset and passion for delivering great member experiences

  • Confidence to lead by example and motivate others in a fast-paced environment

  • Commercial awareness and ability to support business performance
