Safer Communities Team Manager
We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual to undertake the post of Safer Communities Team Manager within the Community Safety Team.
About the role
The role specialises in providing a high quality, customer focused service to victims and perpetrators of anti-social behaviour and domestic abuse across the Karbon Homes stock.
You will lead and manage the Community Safety team where the provision of the service involves a pro-active approach to prevent and tackle anti-social behaviour and domestic abuse cases. You will lead the team that oversee a caseload of anti-social behaviour/domestic abuse cases and you will support the team in the investigation of the cases.
The role is fast paced, challenging, and rewarding, and is a crucial service to our customers in our neighbourhoods. The role is challenging and demanding but for the right person you will thrive in a position that deals with complex, and sometimes emotive situations.
A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purpose is essential.
About you
You will have knowledge, experience and a thorough understanding of the working practices and legal requirements in terms of managing an anti-social behaviour service and tenancy enforcement. You will be someone who can develop strong working relationships with key internal and external partners in a multi-agency forum. You must be dynamic, possess strong customer service, people management and organisational skills.
A flexible approach to work is key as you will be required to work across all office locations and Karbon stock as necessary and occasionally work outside normal working hours.

- Salary is £46,012 per annum plus a Karbon car payment of £2317 per annum
- Location: Stanley or Gosforth
- Regular travel will be required across all Karbon stock
- 37 Hours per week with agile working
