Your Impact

As a developingClinical Lead, you will be provided to have the supported opportunity to
✅ Oversee the organisation and development of adult community SLT services
✅ Provide highly specialist advice to the rehabilitation and therapy teams.
✅ Lead clinical governance, service audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
✅ Manage a complex caseload, using advanced clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
✅ Work strategically with AHP Leads and senior stakeholders to enhance service delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualified SLT with RCSLT-recognised degree and HCPC registration.
Strong leadership & mentorship experience, including clinical supervision.
Exceptional communication & problem-solving skills in complex cases.
Passion for service development & innovation in community SLT care.

North Mid is part of North Central London integrated care system – consisting of the NHS and Local authority organisations in Camden, Islington, Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. As with other ICS’s, we are working increasingly closely with partners and indeed many of our financial and performance objectives are measured at this system level. Whilst all organisations remain as standalone, statutory bodies we have an ICS infrastructure for making shared decisions and agreeing shared approaches.

The Adult Speech and Language Service (Adult SLT) is part of the North Mid in the Community (NMUH Trust) which has merged with the RFH. The Clinical Lead for Adult SLT in Enfield will ensure the service provides a very high standard of adult speech and language therapy to patients and carers in a community setting and to meet the needs of the multicultural and diverse population ensuring patient focused pathways of care are developed and maintained. If you are a B7, with moderate experience you will receive full support for CPD, leadership training, and career progression to take you from B7 to B8a.



You will act as a resource of highly specialist advice to the rest of the community rehabilitation and therapy services and others within wider Trust multidisciplinary services. You will establish excellent liaison and communication with other relevant services and organisations in order to achieve seamless care for the patients referred to the service.
