We are looking for a Property Projects Manager to join our Projects Department.

The Property Projects Manager is responsible the full lifecycle of multiple projects—ranging from club fit-outs to spa and wet area refurbishments—ensuring they're delivered to the highest standard, on time, and within budget. Working closely with our internal stakeholders and external consultants, you'll ensure each project reflects the Virgin Active brand while meeting operational and member needs.

The Role

-Lead the delivery of capital projects from concept through to completion, including new club builds and refurbishments

-Act as the key liaison between Virgin Active and external partners including architects, designers, contractors, QSs, and consultants

-Conduct pre-start meetings withing the club and ensure comms plan is effectively executed.

-Manage the direct costs and delivery throughout each project

-Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, experience, product, design, marketing, and commercial teams to ensure seamless project delivery

-Review and influence club layouts and design decisions, ensuring alignment with the brand and operational flow

-Oversee the RFI process and ensure timely production of landlord-tenant agreement documentation

-Monitor construction quality, compliance, and programme timelines via regular site visits

Experience

-Proven experience in managing construction and refurbishment projects from end-to-end, ideally in health & wellness, leisure, or hospitality sectors

-Comfortable handling projects ranging from smaller works to large capital developments

-Strong stakeholder management and communication skills—able to manage both internal expectations and external delivery

-A passion for high-quality design and building spaces that enhance member experience

-Self-motivated, organised, and calm under pressure, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities

-Flexibility to travel to sites across the Virgin Active estate
