We are looking for a highlyorganised, motivatedsecretaryto join the team of administrators who support the health visiting service in West Berkshire.
The ideal candidate will haveexcellent, IT (including the use of excel) and communication skills.
The team are supportive and friendly and enjoy good working relationships with partner agencies. You must be a driver and have use of a car.
• ManageNew Birth notifications and children transferring in and out of the area. Add to Monthly Team Planner asrequired.Book appointments directly into practitioner diary or toallocateasappropriate followinglocal process
• Send out health related information and questionnaires asrequiredand take appointment bookings
• Work closely with the health visiting teamto include typing correspondence and confidential reports.
• Responsible for ordering,maintainingstock records and distribution of clinical equipment,health resource materials, patient leaflet informationandstationery.
• Responsible for theaccuraterecording of dataintodatabase.
• Be apoint of contact for clients, health professionals, social workers ensuringappropriateand immediate action is taken.
• Assistin multi-agency referralprocessesbetween professionals
• Provide confidential, administrative support to the Health Visiting Team answering telephone enquiries,prioritisingand answering routine correspondence and emails as directed.
• Able to accurately utilise computerised data entry programmes to enter, store and / or retrieve information for standardised reports.
• Able to support others inputting data.
• Assistinlocatingand accessing confidential information andmaintainingsecurity and confidentiality at all times.
• Maintain efficient administration and filing systems.
• Sortincomingposttoappropriate staff
