Summary

We are seeking a Café Assistant to join our dynamic team at Aysgarth Falls Hotel in the heart of the countryside. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing our guests' dining experiences, contributing to our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and presentation in the café.
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and serving food and beverages.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area.
Support kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment for guests.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
Qualifications

Previous experience in catering or hospitality is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanour.
Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork attitude.
Barista experience is a plus but not mandatory.
