GCVS Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of Willowacre Trust.


Job Purpose:
To manage and co-ordinate the Advice Services Team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality advice services to tenants and communities. This includes overseeing a team of Advice Officers (Money Advice, Energy Advice, Digital Participation, and Wellbeing Advice), casework of a senior nature, contributing to funding bids, promoting Willowacre Trust’s values, and supporting the delivery of the Willowacre Trust Business Plan.

Main Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the Advice Services team, ensuring high standards of performance and service delivery.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, manage staff development, and support staff training needs.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety responsibilities for the team and promote a safe working environment.
• Coordinate the recruitment, selection, and induction of new staff where appropriate.
• Manage complex and senior-level casework, providing expert advice and support across all services offered.
• Provide specific advice and information in relation to older people to support them to achieve good outcomes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client database and case management records.
• Monitor and report on case outcomes and progress, ensuring high-quality services are provided to clients.
• Support the Community Services Manager and the wider team in the delivery of Willowacre Trust’s Business Plan.
• Work closely with internal teams, including the Income Management Team and Housing Services, to ensure a seamless service delivery.
• Co-ordinate the Trust’s food delivery services and ensure effective communication and coordination of the service with clients and partners.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including external advice services, partners, and funding bodies.
• Act as an ambassador for Willowacre Trust and West of Scotland Housing Association, promoting the charity’s values and ensuring alignment with its Vision, Mission, and Core Values.
• Support the development and submission of funding bids, working collaboratively with senior staff to secure additional resources.
• Set, monitor, and ensure the team meets agreed KPIs, maintaining a high standard of service delivery and performance.
• Regularly review and evaluate team performance, taking appropriate actions to maintain continuous improvement.
• Ensure all services are delivered in line with agreed policies and procedures.
• Promote and reflect the core values of Willowacre Trust and West of Scotland Housing Association in all aspects of the role.
• Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure the team embodies these values in their day-to-day work.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Community Services Manager to support the smooth running of Willowacre Trust and its services.
