Crynodeb
To be an active member of the clinical and laboratory haematology services and help deliver excellence in clinical care and diagnostics. To contribute to high quality, effective, evidence-based services for inpatient, outpatients and day care, providing specialist advice and a referral service for other clinicians in the Trust To undertake administrative duties associated with the care of patients and the running of clinics or departments. To help provide triaging/vetting of referrals and advice and guidance to local GPs. To participate in the consultant on-call rota (1:5) and provide cover for colleagues in time of absence and leave when required. On-call is partially supported by a haematology specialist registrar. Leadership, development and organisation of the services in the charge of the post holder in line with the Trust/Divisional business plans.
