Crynodeb
We would welcome candidates with experience of delivering specialist rehabilitation for patients with complex musculoskeletal and / or neurological injuries. The successful candidate will work as part of an MDT consisting of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Dietetics, speech and language therapists, Social work and Consultants in Rehabilitation Medicine. There will be a requirement to supervise junior staff, deliver in-service training, and partake in clinical audit and service development. The Major Trauma Rehabilitation Service is 365 days a year service. The post has late shift, weekend and bank holiday commitment. To provide a high standard of occupational therapy care to non-complex, complex and highly complex patients within specialty evidencing high-level problem solving, reasoning skills and independence of judgement. The as Advanced OT will be a highly specialist practitioner and is the clinical lead for the Occupational Therapy Service within specialty providing highly specialist knowledge within the Trust and externally to therapists and other health care professionals from secondary and primary care across the region.
