We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated Housing Solutions Advisor to identify and provide additional targeted support and specialist housing advice to young people and care leavers most at risk homelessness or rough sleeping.
Delivered through the Targeted Youth Support accommodation hub the successful applicant will be responsible for providing direct support to a small number of young people and Care leavers within the housing pathways and for developing improved joint working between Leaving Care services, Housing and other key Local Authority and third sector services to prevent homelessness and rough sleeping.
Direct experience of working with vulnerable young people in a housing and homelessness context will be essential and an ability to demonstrate both flexibility and creativity in their approach to service delivery and engagement.
Working knowledge across key agencies and partners alongside the ability to develop and build positive working relationships with young people across multi agency delivery partners will be essential.
