Hours: Sunday to Thursday
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:30
- Sunday: 07:00 - 15:30
- Job Type: Full-time, Ongoing
We are currently looking for motivated and reliable Recycling Operatives to join our team at a busy facility based in Carlisle. This is a physically active role ideal for individuals who are safety-conscious and committed to maintaining high environmental and operational standards.
As a Recycling Operative, you will be responsible for sorting recyclable materials on a picking line and ensuring all site procedures are followed correctly.
Please note: due to the location of the site, you must be able to drive or have reliable transport.
Main Duties:- Working as a Recycling Operative on a picking line to sort recyclable materials efficiently
- Following site recycling procedures and company protocols
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Reporting any hazards or issues to supervisors
- MUST be able to drive due to location
- Previous experience in a recycling or waste management environment (preferred but not essential as full training provided)
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet for extended periods
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Weekly pay
