Job Description
- Conduct Tests and Analyses: Perform chemical and physical tests on raw materials, in process samples, and finished products to evaluate properties such as tensile strength, elasticity, and durability.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet specified quality standards by identifying defects and recommending process improvements.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all tests and analyses, including data entry and report generation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to the production team and assist in troubleshooting issues related to polymer materials
- Research and Development: Assist in the development of new polymer formulations and processes by conducting experiments and providing feedback
Requirements
- Associate degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in the polymer or manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of ISO quality management systems is a plus
