Your new role

As Head of Data, you'll collaborate with senior stakeholders to define and implement a strategic data vision. You'll lead a talented team, manage data risks, and champion data governance, quality, and compliance. Your remit includes embedding scalable AI/ML capabilities, improving data architecture and engineering in cloud environments, and aligning data initiatives with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the group-wide data strategy
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and promote data literacy across the business
  • Embed AI/ML into core applications and workflows
  • Chair the Data Governance Group and ensure ethical data use
  • Oversee supplier relationships and service maturity

What you'll need to succeed

  • 15+ years' experience in delivering data-based projects at a senior level
  • 3+ years in a senior data leadership role
  • Experience of Board Reporting
  • Experience of implementing Data Governance
  • Experience of delivering Data Architecture
  • Experience of delivering Data Engineering in a cloud environment
  • Experience of delivering AI & ML initiatives
