The Role: As a Resource Manager, you will play a crucial role in our team, ensuring that our projects are staffed with the right people at the right time. Your ability to anticipate challenges and proactively solve problems will be key to your success in this role.

What You Will Do:

• Lead and develop the resource strategy to ensure the successful delivery of the University Digital Strategic Plan

• Manage efficient and effective allocation of internal resources, supported by a network of delivery partners and suppliers

• Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to align staff with organisational strategy and priorities

• Apply specialist knowledge and experience to address short-term challenges while maintaining a long-term perspective

• Develop and implement a flexible and responsive resource model

• Ensure appropriate financial controls and identify and develop future skills

What We're Looking For:

• Well-rounded knowledge and understanding of the resource management, accompanied by extensive practical and/or managerial experience

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A proactive and self-motivated approach

• Effectively manages team dynamics, creating an environment that engages and motivates others

• Provides expert advice, guidance and recommendations on complex issues

• Fosters and maintains working relationships within the department and wider University

• Uses persuasiveness and positively influences others to achieve outcomes
