Our team are responsible for carrying out sand clearance operations along the coastline of the East Lindsey District, keeping the foreshores clean and tidy for residents and visitors alike. You will be joining a dedicated and hardworking team that operates in all weathers throughout the year.
Typical duties
To assist the Pride in East Lindsey (Coastal Access) Senior Technical Operative, in carrying out sand clearance operations along the coastline of the East Lindsey District
To operate sand clearance plant and machinery
May be required to assist in the maintenance and cleansing of a wide range the Council’s public places and open spaces.
What do we need from you?
Full current & valid Cat B driving licence
Strong communication skills, written and verbal with an ability to communicate at all levels.
We are looking for individuals who can work independently and use their own initiative, have the ability to work under pressure, and someone with a good record keeping of vehicle/plant defects and maintenance..
