The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a committed and enthusiastic person to join our existing Operational Support office team.

We’re looking for a Home Care Operational Support Coordinator to join our dynamic team and help deliver key objectives from our People Plan. This role plays a vital part in supporting the effective management, growth, and development of our workforce, contributing directly to our corporate priorities.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll provide comprehensive administrative support across the service, helping to implement policy and use your innovation to deliver a fantastic service! Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and updating care management systems and software applications
  • Supporting the commissioning process and managing referrals efficiently
  • Assisting with the scheduling of staff inductions and personnel procedures
  • Running reports and pulling data from work systems
  • Promoting excellent customer care and equal opportunities
  • Supporting the implementation of new technology
  • Upholding confidentiality and corporate policies
  • Participating in training, supervision, and personal development

What You’ll Bring

Essential Qualifications:

  • GCSE level education

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong administrative and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Awareness of Adult Social Care services and systems
  • Understanding of equal opportunities and STRIVE values
  • Comfortable communicating with staff at all levels and the public

About You

Desirable Experience & Training:

  • Experience with LAS and CM2000 systems
  • BTEC National Level qualification
  • Previous coordination role experience
  • Familiarity with the Department’s Customer Complaint Policy
  • Strong organisational skills and creative thinking
