Communities for Work+ (CfW+) is a Welsh Government programme tackling poverty though sustainable employment providing intensive employment mentoring and support.

Communities for Work Plus provides specialist employment advisory support and intensive mentoring to people who are under-represented in the labour market including young, old and disabled people; Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people; and those with care responsibilities.

The programme focuses on increasing the employability of economically inactive and long term unemployed adults who have complex barriers to employment and reducing the number of 16-24 year olds who are NEET.

The Communities for Work+ Participant Engagement Worker works within the CfW+ local delivery team based within Pembrokeshire. The post holder will have responsibility for supporting the team of Mentors with administrative duties, facilitating outreach activities and partnership meetings, record keeping and participant support work.

The post holder works closely with local agencies, community groups and individuals to raise the profile and awareness of the programme, creating opportunities in which to identify new participants, engaging and enrolling them onto the programme.

You will provide key support for all aspects of programme development and capacity building initiatives, being responsive to local needs and working within set Programme Guidance.

You will provide a flexible, high quality service, working in partnership with a range of employability and skills programmes, and will be expected to work as part of an integrated team.
