Crynodeb

Empower People. Support Businesses. Shape the Future.

Are you passionate about transforming lives through skills and training? Do you thrive on helping individuals and communities reach their full potential? If so, Futureworks invites you to be part of something truly impactful.

We’re currently delivering the Skills Futures project, funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund until February 2026, and preparing to scale up for the future.

As we grow and evolve, we're looking for two dynamic and driven Skills Advisers to help lead the charge in supporting people and employers across Pembrokeshire.

With us, you’ll find the opportunity to make a real difference:

A chance to shape the skills landscape in Pembrokeshire
Opportunities for personal and professional development
A role with real impact on people’s lives and local economic growth

What you’ll be doing

As a Skills Adviser, you'll be at the heart of delivering meaningful training that directly supports people who are not currently working into work and helps local employers thrive. You will:

Recruit participants, promote your courses, and manage your own caseload from start to finish.
Deliver high-quality, accredited training to learners across a range of vocational areas.
Support and guide learners of all ages, helping them gain confidence, qualifications, and employment.
Deliver learning flexibly - in our centres and in community settings.
Help bridge the gap between job seekers and employers by aligning training with local business needs.

Your experience and passion

We’re looking for professionals with a teaching, training, assessing, or quality assurance background — and a genuine passion for helping others succeed. Ideally, you will have:

Relevant vocational qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or above).
An Assessor’s Award (or willingness to work towards one).
Experience delivering workplace training and assessing vocational qualifications.
A proactive, people-focused approach and excellent organisational skills.
The ability to deliver engaging training in one or more of our priority sectors:

✅ Engineering / Energy Sector including preparing for renewables
✅ Visitor Economy / Tourism
✅ Business Skills, including digital skills for work
✅ Essential Skills (numeracy, literacy, digital inclusion)
✅ Land-based / Heritage industries

Location: Pembrokeshire – learning centres and community settings
