Job Information:
Birkett House is a very popular and successful all age special school for pupils with learning difficulties. We are a multi-sited school in South Leicestershire and we are currently looking for Midday Supervisors. The main school site is in Wigston and we also have inclusion units at Thistly Meadow Primary School (Blaby), Little Hill Primary School (Wigston), Thomas Estley Community College (Broughton Astley) and a purpose built Senior Department based in Countesthorpe.
We currently require Midday Supervisor/s to work at our Wigston site. Responsibilities include supervising pupils during their period of break, helping to run structured games/activities, supporting, and feeding pupils and assisting with their personal care requirements. The successful applicant will be joining a team of midday supervisors and will receive training and induction.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an outward-looking school and to contribute to the development of special education in Leicestershire. Hours: 7.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 11.45am to 1.15pm
Grade: Grade 5, Point 7 (£13.05 per hour)
