Deputy Nurse Manager – £50,000

Hours: 42 per week – predominantly Monday–Friday, with some flexibility.

Set in a warm, homely environment, the team is dedicated to creating a place where residents feel safe and respected – and they’re now looking for an experienced Deputy Nurse Manager to join them.

This is a predominantly Monday–Friday, supernumerary position (42 hours per week) with occasional clinical shifts and participation in the on-call rota. It’s the perfect opportunity for a nurse-qualified professional who thrives on leading by example, driving high standards, and supporting both residents and staff to be their very best.

What You’ll Bring

  • NMC Registered Nurse qualification (RGN or RMN).

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Working alongside the Registered Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the home.
  • Providing hands-on clinical leadership to ensure safe, person-centred care.
  • Guiding and developing a talented team of nurses and carers.
  • Maintaining full compliance with CQC regulations and safeguarding requirements.
  • Conducting audits, reviewing care plans, and leading staff supervisions.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive culture for residents, relatives, and colleagues alike.
  • Stepping into a clinical role when needed to ensure seamless care delivery.
