I am working on behalf of a respected and long-established care provider to recruit an experienced and passionate Nursing Home Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead in a high-quality nursing home that offers outstanding residential and nursing care for older people.
The provider has been running successful nursing homes for over 30 years and is committed to delivering person-centred care in warm, welcoming environments. The nursing home you will manage is a large, 50-bed service specialising in dementia care. It is set in beautiful grounds with secure garden areas and has a “Good” CQC rating across all areas, along with awards recognising excellence in care.
Key Responsibilities of the Nursing Home Manager:
Lead and manage the nursing home to deliver exceptional care standards.
Oversee all daily operations within the nursing home, ensuring smooth and efficient running.
Mentor, guide, and inspire the nursing home staff team.
Maintain compliance with all CQC and NMC requirements.
Work collaboratively with residents, families, and staff to maintain the nursing home as a centre of excellence.
Promote a positive, caring culture and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience Required for the Nursing Home Manager Role:
Proven management experience within a nursing home or similar care setting.
RGN or RMN qualified with an active NMC pin.
Strong leadership and staff development skills in a nursing home environment.
Organised, self-motivated, and resilient under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Enhanced DBS certificate required.
