The Best Connection are currently looking for an HGV Class 2 Driver to work for our client based in Winchester. New Pass Drivers Welcome. The job has NO multidrop - NO heavy lifting. It is Monday to Friday with plenty of overtime available 7 days a week. The annual salary is £37k basic with a very realistic annual take home of £40+k. No experience necessary and full training is provided. Here are all the details:
The normal working week for an HGV Class 2 driver is Monday to Friday with overtime paid after 50 hours and also available at weekends.
The standard hours of work are 6.00 AM to 4.30 PM
You will receive full training all aspects of the job including;
All health and safety systems and processes. Work completion methods
Safe systems of work, Vehicle and equipment handling
You will work together with an experienced operative on a daily basis
A typical working day for an HGV Class 2 driver will be to driver an 18ton water tanker and clear Galleys of any blockages to ensure rain water etc drains freely on all roads. You will work in a very tight geographical area completing designated zones. The work will involve moving from one gully to the next which are often in very close proximity.
The salary is £14.21 per hour for the 1st 50 hours. £17.76 after 50 hours and all day Saturday. £21.31 Sundays and Bank Holidays
The annual salary works out to £37k basic with a realistic annual salary of £40+k min.
There is an immediate start to the work and subject to successfully completing a 16 week probation you will be given a permanent position.
