Summary
The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an ADHOC Cat C Driver to cover peaks with our client in the Horley area within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector.
This Role is ADHOC covering for the Summer Period.
Hours of Work:
- 06:00 - 15:00.
- Tuesday to Saturday.

Delivery of drinks products and barrels to businesses in Cat C HGV. Will include lumping and bumping.
Responsibilities of the Cat C Driver:
- Operate a Cat C vehicle from Horley to various locations the UK. Delivering barrels & caged drinks with a drivers mate to support.
- Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels; safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
- Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely Interact with dispatchers and others daily to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow all required safety policies and procedures within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector..
Requirements of the Cat C Driver:
- Category C Licence.
- CPC.
- Digi Tacho.
