Staffline is recruiting for a Transport Co-Ordinator to work in Dagenham.
The rate of pay is £32,000 to £35,000 per annum.
This is a full-time role, working fixed day shifts. The hours of work are:
- 7am to 7pm
Your Time at Work
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Transport Coordinator to oversee and support the day-to-day planning and execution of our clients transport operations. This role involves efficient route planning for multi-drop deliveries, ensuring fleet compliance and maintenance, debriefing drivers, and maintaining seamless communication with operations and customer service teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing a mixed fleet of vans, 7.5T, and 18T vehicles, along with a solid understanding of transport compliance and audits.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Plan and optimise daily multi drop delivery routes
- Ensure optimal radial distribution through routing software - Verizon
- Adjust plans if needed
- Co-ordinate maintenance and servicing schedules for a mixed fleet of vans, 7.5T and 18T
- Ensure vehicles all comply with H&S
- Conduct Driver debriefs and support drivers with route queries
- Ensure all transport operations adhere to legal and company compliance
- Work closely with operations and customer service to align delivery expectations
- Ensure transport operational costs are maintained and within budget

Experience we need you to have:
- Proven experience in a similar transport/logistics role
- Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation
- Proficient in route planning
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Would be great if you have CPC or working towards it
- Knowledge of fleet telematics
Experience in a similar role required.
