Youth Justice position available paying £40 per hour, in the North of England.

Please note, you do not need to hold a Social Work qualification for this position but you must have Youth Justice Experience, in previous positions within a local authority.

Pay rate - £40
Driving licence and car driver essential
Hybrid working 2/3 days in the office
Caseloads are varied, direct work with youth justice services

Key Responsibilities:

Work alongside service improvement leads to address key practice areas
Collaborate with the workforce to help shift culture and practice
Use data and lived experience feedback to drive improvements
Partner with agencies to ensure ambition and high standards for young people
Support colleagues and promote best practice
Adapt to evolving needs and continuously develop your skills

Role Description

Temporary roles for Qualified and Unqualified Workers in Social Care. Day-to-day tasks will include providing support and care to individuals and families, assessments, court work, child protection, and more.

Hybrid working, full-time, flexible.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience in social care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Empathy and compassion for others
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle challenging situations and remain calm
  • Attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Relevant qualifications in social work or related field
  • Valid driver's license (if required for the role)
