The Bury Care Academy Team is a newly developing team, with a remit to support the adult social providers in Bury with their workforce development needs, including managing a centralised recruitment service, raising awareness of social care as a career amongst the wider Bury community, working with schools and colleges, facilitating and attending jobs fairs, careers fairs and other events and much more….
As our Administrator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Bury Care Academy. You’ll ensure excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, manage applicant enquiries, maintain tracking systems, and support recruitment and events. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same!
About you
• Qualifications: Level 2 in Business Administration or Customer Service (or equivalent).
• Experience: Previous admin experience, ideally in recruitment or adult social care.
• Skills:
• Excellent customer service and communication
• Strong IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
• Analytical and detail-oriented
• Team player with initiative
About the Role
• Recruitment Support: Manage the recruitment process from advert to hire, including screening and shortlisting candidates.
• Compliance: Ensure all applicant checks meet regulatory standards.
• Event Coordination: Assist in planning and facilitating events, representing the Academy with enthusiasm.
• System Management: Use digital tools including Microsoft Office and our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to support team operations.
• Relationship Building: Foster strong connections with care providers, applicants, and internal teams.
