Crynodeb
Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for Woodworkers based in the outskirts of Norwich. Own transport is essential due to site location and previous experience required.
This is an excellent temp to perm opportunity.
Please note: We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must have the legal right to live and work in the UK at the time of application.
Duties and responsibilities:
• The ability to read and understand engineering drawings and associated data outlining product requirements would be an advantage
• Should be familiar with the safe use of power tools: Cross Cutt Saw, Rip Saw, Panel Saw
• Willing to undertake a wide range of tasks, including site maintenance tasks within reason : Hanging doors, basic repairs and site improvements
• The ability to work on your own initiative to overcome design and build issues
• Responding to the task loading from the Team Leader will require a degree of flexibility
• Any other duties as required
Requirements:
• Previous experience working with woodworking
• Proven experience of working from engineering drawings
• Have a working understanding of the principles and tools of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools within a low volume, high quality manufacturing facility
• Ability to work productively, efficiently, and effectively with initiative and drive, even under tight deadlines and pressure, while maintaining attention to detail and quality
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team at all levels
Shift pattern:
• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 - 16:30
