Summary
A lovely family based in Wincanton, Somerset, is seeking a part-time Nanny-Housekeeper to assist in caring for their two delightful toddlers and in keeping their home clean and well-maintained. This role would suit someone responsible, nurturing, and able to balance childcare with household duties effectively. The successful candidate will also be expected to prepare meals when required. The family has three dogs, so being comfortable around animals is essential. While there is a strong preference for Tagalog speakers, English-speaking candidates will also be considered.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, approximately 27 hours per week
Duties include:
Ironing and laundry
Caring for valuable items
Hoovering
Mopping floors
Cleaning windows, cupboards, surfaces, kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms
Wardrobe management and organisation
Supporting children’s learning
Washing and dressing the children
Engaging in play activities with the children
Changing nappies
Sterilising and cleaning milk bottles
Taking the children to activities
Ensuring the children are always safe, happy, and well cared for
