We are looking for a Water Hygiene Qualified Supervisor to join our team and drive the highest standards of Health and Safety across all sites.
This is a role with clear progression opportunities, offering 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional leave.
Job Description
As a committed, motivated, and enthusiastic team player and leader, you will work closely with Contract Account Managers to ensure that skilled and suitable resources are in place to maintain client services.
You will play a key role in achieving technical KPIs at the account, segment, and country levels, while consistently adhering to ISS technical policies, standards, procedures, and Safe Systems of Work.
Leading by example, you will actively promote good health and safety practices across your team.
Key Responsibilities
Administer Legionella Tracker, review risk assessments, and correspond with clients.
Mentor engineers in the field on Legionella compliance, including observing work and completing questionnaires.
Promote and ensure the highest levels of health, safety, and compliance across all tasks.
Guide interpretation of regulations, local house rules, and any necessary deviations.
Review water sample results, risk assessments, and schematic drawings, issuing advice or remediation where qualified.
Manage time effectively, prioritising tasks and producing detailed reports on all activities undertaken.
Support investigations and system reviews alongside the Principal Engineer, offering guidance on microbiological and public health risks.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Full professional membership of a relevant body (e.g., Water Management Society, CIPHE, IHEEM).
Extensive experience in multi-disciplinary technical environments.
Experience with certification in cooling system risk assessment and water treatment.
Experience assessing microbiological risks in domestic and commercial water systems.
Skilled in interpreting microbiological and non-microbiological water sample results, including BSRIA testing.
Understanding of non-water systems such as HVAC, mechanical, and pressure systems; competent with IT software.
Full driving licence; experience in critical environments preferred.
