Mental Health Recovery Worker
Location: Manchester
Salary: £25,170 per annum
Contract: Permanent | 37.5 hours per week
Are you passionate about mental health and supporting others to live independently? Do you enjoy empowering individuals to lead their own recovery journey?
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Recovery Worker to join our Women’s Supported Housing service in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of women, helping them maintain their tenancy, develop life skills, and achieve personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Support service users to create and follow personal support plans
Assist with developing domestic, financial, and life management skills
Help access education, work, and leisure opportunities
Maintain accurate case notes on IT systems
Liaise with GP surgeries, local authorities, and community organisations
Promote the service within the local community
What we are looking for:
Experience in mental health or social care
Caring, flexible, and creative approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills and ability to connect with people at all levels
Willingness to participate in a weekly rota and on-call duties
Working Pattern:
Monday to Sunday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Some evenings and weekends required
