Join Our Transformation Journey at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Are you ready to make a real impact in the NHS? We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-driven Project Analyst to join our newly established Programme Management Office (PMO) — a strategic hub designed to drive the delivery of our most complex and high-priority programmes.
As a Trust, we face significant financial challenges, and this role is pivotal in supporting the delivery of key programmes that will shape our future — including the Waste Reduction Programme (WRP) and the Single Improvement Plan (SIP).
Please note this role is restricted to staff from the following trusts:
• Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
• East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust
• Lancashire & South Cumbria Integrated Care Board
• Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust
• Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
• North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust
• University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust
As a Project Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of transformational change — working closely with senior clinical, operational, and corporate teams to drive the successful implementation of major programmes. You’ll prepare insightful reports and documentation that inform strategic decisions, while tracking key milestones and savings to ensure we stay on course. With a sharp analytical eye, you’ll uncover opportunities for improvement through high-level data analysis and foster strong relationships across portfolios to maximise engagement and impact. Your expertise will support the development of robust project documentation, risk management strategies, and ensure every project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget — helping shape a more efficient and effective future for our Trust.
Why Join Us?
This is more than just a job — it’s a chance to be part of a transformative journey that will improve patient care, drive efficiency, and shape the future of healthcare in Lancashire. You’ll be supported by a forward-thinking PMO and work alongside passionate professionals who are committed to making a difference.
Working at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust means being part of a passionate, forward-thinking team that’s dedicated to delivering outstanding care and driving meaningful change. Whether you're supporting frontline services or leading transformational programmes, you'll be surrounded by people who care deeply about making a difference — for patients, for colleagues, and for the future of healthcare in Lancashire.
Please see the attached document for the full job description and person specification.
In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to our financial recovery programme — supporting teams to track progress, analyse complex data, and report against project goals. You’ll work closely with divisional colleagues to lead and deliver impactful programmes, ensuring they run smoothly, on time, and within budget. Your ability to manipulate and interpret data will help shape strategic decisions, while your relationship-building skills will foster strong connections with stakeholders across the Trust.
