The Maintenance & Engineering Manager will lead and oversee all maintenance activities across the site’s plant, equipment, and systems, ensuring reliable operation and continuous improvement.

Job Description
Using your technical expertise and leadership skills, you will drive efficient maintenance processes, boost operational performance, and maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain maintenance databases (e.g., TriRiga) and site building management systems.
Lead and organise daily workloads for maintenance and contractor teams.
Plan and cost minor works and reactive maintenance efficiently.
Oversee M&E subcontractors, ensuring compliance and site inductions.
Ensure statutory compliance and upkeep of essential site equipment and logbooks.
Diagnose faults, recommend repairs, and implement energy-saving measures.
Liaise with clients to align maintenance activities with production needs.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Completed a mechanical and electrical engineering apprenticeship.
Holds at least an ONC or NVQ Level 3 qualification.
Minimum of four years’ relevant maintenance experience.
Proven supervisory skills.
Good working knowledge of site plant, equipment, and factory services.
Familiar with Safety, Health, and Environment legislation.
Capable of writing risk assessments and managing workplace safety.
