Crynodeb
You will be based within the Histopathology department and will be expected to deal with specimens pertaining to haematopathology, including (minimal) cut up and sample triage, slide reviewing and reporting alongside the assigned supervising consultant. Rotations will include learning and reporting within all laboratories within the SE-HMDS (3:2): cytomorphology, histopathology, immunophenotyping, cytogenetic and molecular diagnostics. Dedicated peripheral blood interpretation and reporting will also be incorporated. Responsibilities will also include: Attending Lymphoma, Myeloma and Myeloid Multi-disciplinary team meetings Attending and teaching at didacting sessions in Haematology/Haematopathology (post-graduate education) Teaching and supervising specialist trainees in Haematology/Histopathology and laboratory staff.
