Crynodeb
We work in the area of checking eligibility of patients utilising NHS secondary or acute services, whereby they may need to pay for them. Work consists of loading data received via email or a physical hard copy form, onto a Database, checking whether we already have the information. Adding the information to a diary sheet to be shared with the team. Making a file on line, sending a first letter - again either physically or via email. Checking NHS numbers and status banners on the National NHS spine. Then giving the information to the team so they can diary for 2 weeks. To be able to answer telephone calls and take a message. Occasionally being a witness to patients providing physical evidence. Be able to send emails with accurate information in line with government guidelines and Trust Care Values. Training will be given.
