Childcare L3-L2 - Part Time/Full Time
This is a permanent position for two part time staff or a full member .
We run a successful, well established, childcare nursery business. We have built this up over 2 years offering high standards of care and learning opportunities based in Hollingbourne/Maidstone and we are now in a position to hire another staff member.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a nursery assistant as it's a busy but lovely setting to be in.
Your responsibility would be to provide a safe and secure environment for children whilst educating them and making sure they reach their full potential.
The hours are 8 / 9am - 17:30pm with the possibility of additional hours.
The ideal candidate will:
You will need an enhanced DBS Certificate registered to work within the children workforce - if you have not already registered on a DBS update service, we can look into this as it is a requirement.
Hold a Valid 12 Hour Paediatrics First Aid Certificate. This can also be looked into if needed.
Have experience of looking after young children in a childcare setting with knowledge of the EYFS.
Have great ORGANISATION skills and TIME MANAGEMENT.
Be proactive, self-motivated and work within a close team, assisting and supporting others with the day to day running of the nurser, helping with dairy diaries, preparing the premises for arrival of children, supervise and play with the children, help fill out paperwork, take photos of the children with our nursery camera, tidy up after activities, assist at meal times, keep up to date with policies, procedures at all times.
Willing to undertake extra training and attend courses as part of your Continuous Professional Development.
We are looking for the right person to fit in and become part of the family as well as being a strong team member. We are a 10 minute walk from the Hollingbourne train station.
