Location: West Bromwich
Hours: 39 hours per week, rotating 3-week shift pattern (subject to change)
Pay: £13.00 per hour
➡️ £15.86/hr with 22% shift allowance
➡️ £16.25/hr with 25% shift allowance

About the Role

We’re seeking skilled Rolling Mill Setters/Operators to join a busy and growing manufacturing team. You will be responsible for setting, operating, and maintaining rolling mill equipment and associated machinery to produce high-quality components to exact specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically minded individuals with previous rolling or metal processing experience who take pride in their work and thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Shift Pattern (Rotating Weekly)

Week 1: Mon – Thu, 6:00am – 2:00pm | Fri, 6:00am – 1:00pm
Week 2: Mon – Thu, 2:00pm – 10:00pm | Fri, 1:00pm – 8:00pm
Week 3: Sun – Wed, 10:00pm – 6:00am | Thu, 10:00pm – 5:00am

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate rolling mills to meet production targets and quality standards

  
  

• Carry out adjustments and tooling changes to achieve correct product specifications

  
  

• Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate production records

  
  

• Monitor machine performance and report issues promptly

  
  

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment (in line with 5S principles)

  
  

• Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and safe operating practices

  
  

• Support continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives

  
  

• Perform additional duties as directed by your supervisor

  • Proven experience setting and operating rolling mills or similar heavy manufacturing machinery
