The Leeds office is home to a close-knit team of nine, including apprentices, graduates, and senior engineers, fostering a strong culture of mentoring and mutual support.

The Role: Senior Civil Engineer

As a key member of the civil engineering team, you will:

- Develop schematic/concept designs and detailed designs for drainage and highways using Civils 3D
- Design Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) with Causeway Flow
- Prepare Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy Reports for planning applications
- Collaborate closely with clients and other construction professionals across various sectors
- Lead projects and manage budgets effectively
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to resourcing and team development

What We’re Looking For

- Strong experience with Civils 3D (or similar software) and drainage network design
- Proven experience leading projects and managing project finances
- A proactive approach to mentoring junior staff and supporting their career progression
- Experience with SuDS design (concept through to detail)
- Familiarity with site work, contractor liaison, and health & safety management
- Chartered or working towards a professional qualification (e.g., ICE, CIWEM)
- Strong communication skills and experience liaising with local authorities and design teams
- A collaborative problem-solver with a commitment to delivering quality outputs
