About the Role
As Security Supervisor, you'll lead a team of security personnel to maintain a safe hospital. You'll coordinate incident responses, uphold security standards, and provide training—everything required to ensure high-quality, proactive security operations.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead, supervise, and schedule the security team to ensure full shift coverage and operational readiness
-Conduct patrols and audits; identify risks and implement controls
-Respond decisively to incidents and emergencies, collaborating with hospital administration and law enforcement as needed
-Maintain accurate incident logs, security reports, and operational records
-Train and mentor staff in emergency protocols, conflict resolution, and best practices
-Develop and provide Mitie training materials and security procedures
-Provide regular security updates and reporting to senior management
Your Qualifications
Essential:
-Strong analytical, observational, decision making, and conflict resolution skills
-Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
-SIA licence (Door Supervisor / CCTV).
Desirable:
-Previous supervisory experience in security or related field
-Experience in healthcare or hospital environments
-UK driving licence
