Workshop Supervisor - We are seeking a proactive, hard-working and detail-oriented Workshop Supervisor to join our growing team in Lowestoft, Suffolk on a full-time permanent basis.

About the role:

As Workshop Supervisor, you'll take the lead in managing our busy workshop, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service. In this hands-on position, you will supervise a small team of technicians, coordinate repairs and servicing of mobility equipment, and manage workflow to not only meet customer expectations but to exceed them. You will play an important role in maintaining a culture of excellence and teamwork within the workshop while ensuring that our products and services uphold the values of East Coast Mobility. Working hours will be Monday - Friday, 7.30am to 4.30pm.

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring efficient workflow and quality standards.

- Supervise, support, and collaborate with a dedicated team of workshop technicians.

- Assist with stairlift installations and the delivery of mobility aids, ensuring exceptional service at every turn.

- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and challenges that may arise, demonstrating your problem-solving acumen.

- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with quality control processes, fostering an organised and health & safety-compliant workshop environment.

About you:

As a Workshop Supervisor, you bring proven experience in a supervisory or senior technician role - preferably with a mobility or mechanical background - and possess strong technical and fault-finding skills. You are a hands-on leader who leads by example, takes pride in quality workmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. With excellent organisational and communication abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a full UK driving licence, you are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
