Salary: £31,500
Start date: Immediate start
The candidate will be required to undertake Food Safety and Food Standards Inspections and produce post inspection letters, using an electronic template, including the issue of new food hygiene ratings.
A detailed electronic food hygiene and standards inspection form will need to be completed following each inspection.
Officers will need to undertake enforcement revisits to any premises which receive a rating of less than 3.
Officers will need to serve Hygiene Improvement Notices to remedy significant contraventions and gather admissible evidence where necessary.
Officers will need to have their own transport to convey them to and from inspections across Pembrokeshire.
Candidates will need to be fully qualified Environmental Health Practitioners with an appropriate Environmental Health degree AND Certificate of Registration as an Environmental Health Officer/Practitioner, with significant experience in Food safety and Food Standards enforcement, to enable them to be appropriately authorised.
