Crynodeb
We are looking for an experienced manual machinist to join our small team of engineers. Nelsons Birstall LTD are a small family run company that have been providing breakdown and bespoke services to the food, recycling, textile and manufacturing sectors since 1947. The candidate should have experience working on manual lathes, milling machines and pillar drills.
Duties include:
• Operate and maintain manual lathes, milling machines and pillar drills.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Work to samples provided by customers.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and precision.
• Any other reasonable duties.
Successful candidates should have/be:
• Experienced operators of manual lathes, milling machines and pillar drills.
• Follow technical drawings
• Work efficiently to meet customer deadlines
• Work well with fellow engineers
• Strong attention to detail
• Problem solving skills

Working hours:
Monday - Thursday: 08:00-16:30
Friday: 08:00 - 15:30
39 hours per week.
Overtime available.
