Valley Care Derbyshire are recruiting and expanding their Care Worker teams!

£1.50 per visit or 35p per mile* (*Additional mileage paid if distance between 2 consecutive calls is >4 miles)

We are expanding our current Community Care Assistant teams in our Derbyshire Branch.
Areas include:
Chapel-en-le-firth
Hope (Bradwell and Castleton)
Whaley bridge
Chinley
Dove holes
Peak Dale
(and surrounding areas)

We have opportunities of both full time and part time care worker positions available. Working usual shift patterns of:

Mornings 7am-3pm
Evenings 3pm-10pm
With alternative weekends of work

You’ll provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives in their own homes.

Job Description:
Helping service users overcome any mobility
Support with administrating medication.
Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks
Our home care assistants are responsible for assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
problems and other physical disabilities, including helping in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
Contribute as needed to a person’s end-of-life care

Requirements:
Have a right to work within the UK
No previous experience is necessary but you will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care
