- We’ll look to you to develop end-to-end solutions and translate problems and opportunities into high level solutions
- You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage coding standards and best practices for credit model development within the AWS environment
- You’ll provide expert guidance on selecting appropriate approaches, frameworks, and toolsets for credit model development, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals
- You’ll be providing high quality analytical input to support the development and implementation of innovative processes and problem resolution

What you'll do
You’ll be designing and developing appropriate technical solutions for Credit Modelling, and maturing our capability to enable our credit modellers to build optimal and efficient models, ensuring they are making use of the right tool for the right job, in the best possible way.
You’ll be undertaking high quality technical analysis, design and delivery of technology solutions or components, including technical guidance, development, configuration and management services for technologies, platforms and products
Day-to-day, you’ll be:
- Capturing, validating and documenting technical requirements, making sure they are in line with key strategic principles
- Building, managing and maintaining a positive working relationship with stakeholders and third party suppliers across multiple franchises and functions
- Utilising our standard processes by understanding the development lifecycles and minimum mandatory requirements
- Overseeing the application of and compliance with our change framework and standards, including the use of Agile methodology
- Articulating and quantifying technical impacts in a tangible manner, which allows stakeholders to make informed decisions
The skills you'll need
To succeed in this role, you’ll need proven experience of applying technical analysis tools and techniques, principally:
- Strong Credit modelling knowledge having led modelling development activity on recent IRB model submissions or similar initiatives
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Glue, SageMaker, and others
- Strong proficiency in Python/SQL programming and its application to Risk modelling, with a proven track record of developing and optimizing complex code

- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and drive adoption of best practice
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills
