Sous Chef – Luxury Nursing Home
Salary: £32,200 per year | Hours: 40 hours per week
Our client is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join a luxury nursing home setting, delivering exceptional dining experiences for older adults. This role offers the chance to combine professional culinary skills with the rewarding satisfaction of creating nutritious, delicious, and beautifully presented meals for residents.

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Chef in either a nursing home or luxury/high-end restaurant.
- Good knowledge of allergens, special diets, and nutritional needs.
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above).
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a positive kitchen environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and present high-quality meals in line with residents’ needs and preferences.
- Cater for a variety of diets, including modified textures, cultural requirements, and allergy-specific meals.
- Maintain exceptional standards of food safety and hygiene in line with regulations.
- Work closely with care teams to ensure meals support residents’ health and wellbeing.
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and kitchen organisation effectively.
- Contribute to a welcoming, luxury dining experience in a nursing home setting.
