Your new role
- Choose the working pattern that suits you-whether it's consistent full-time cover or occasional days to fit around other commitments
- Deliver dynamic and purposeful lessons to KS2 pupils, using school-provided plans and resources
- Help children build confidence in core subjects like reading, writing, maths, and critical thinking
- Leave clear, constructive feedback for the class teacher to ensure a seamless transition
- Create a positive, respectful classroom environment that nurtures independence and curiosity
- Follow school policies on behaviour, assessment, and safeguarding with professionalism and care
What you'll need to succeed
- Availability for flexible or ongoing supply work
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- A confident classroom presence and excellent communication skills
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with support staff
- The ability to adapt your teaching to suit different learning styles and pupil needs
- A warm, professional approach when engaging with pupils, staff, and families
