Nursery Practitioner Level 3 – Hook, Hampshire

Salary: £25,000 – £29,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, shifts between 7:30am – 6:30pm

Our client, a well-established and welcoming day nursery, is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join their friendly, supportive team. What We’re Looking For

  • A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Proven experience working in an Early Years setting.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of the EYFS and Early Years Inspection Framework.
  • Paediatric First Aid and basic Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete).
  • A collaborative, team-focused approach with a genuine passion for early years education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and education for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Supervise and engage with children in stimulating, age-appropriate activities.
  • Plan, lead, and participate in creative, imaginative, and occasionally messy play.
  • Observe and assess children’s development, maintaining accurate records for key children.
  • Build warm, professional relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.
  • Contribute positively to the nursery’s vibrant and supportive team culture.
