Since 2012, Capita has proudly partnered with the British Army through the Recruiting Partnership Project (RPP), helping to attract and select exceptional officers and soldiers for both the Regular and Reserve forces.

We're now looking for an Interviewer/Assessor to support candidates on their journey to enlistment. In this role, you'll create a welcoming and impartial environment, conduct assessments under strict conditions, and evaluate candidates fairly using detailed marking guides. Your support will help candidates perform at their best and feel confident throughout the process. This role is full-time on-site. This will include overnight chaperone and 'on call' duties once per week. You will be expected to work one weekend per month, which includes a Saturday and Sunday.

What you'll be doing:

• delivering assessment activities in a structured, professional environment
• creating a fair and inclusive space where every candidate can perform at their best
• evaluating candidates against clear criteria to ensure consistency and fairness
• offering constructive feedback and guidance on next steps in the recruitment journey
• leading career-focused interviews to help candidates explore their potential
• producing clear, insightful reports to support Recruiters and Training Instructors in understanding each candidate's strengths and development areas

What we're looking for:

Essential:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A natural ability to mentor and support others
• Confidence and warmth when engaging with people
• A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
• Great organisational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Army careers (a plus, but not essential)
