The Opportunity:
We are recruiting for a Catering Team Leader to join our team.
This is a very exciting opportunity to join the team at the Institute for public health improvement at the Usher Building at the Bio quarter in our newly opened cafe. Based at the on the same campus as the Royal Infirmary, the operation consists of a 60 cover QSR serving breakfast, lunch alongside a coffee and bakery counter service.
Reporting to the Catering Manager you will lead the team in delivering exceptional customer service and fantastic food. At the same time, supporting the Catering Manager in overseeing all aspects of the day to day running of the operation in multiple sites across campus. As the cafe is relatively newly opened, this is a great time to come on board supporting a growing business and developing your career.
This is a hands-on role; you will lead from the front inspiring the team to deliver exceptional service and maintain the highest standards. To succeed in this role, you will have experience running shifts in a similar high-street, high-volume cafe operation.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week), on campus.
