The contract is 12month, fixed-term starting October 2025 and is 40:60 teaching and service delivery. 40 % of the time will be dedicated to Education Delivery. 60% of the time will be undertaken within the chosen Clinical Speciality. This is a 40 hour week contract with banding to a maximum of 1B. You will be expected to have at least five years of accredited basic general obstetrics and gynaecology training to the level of ST5 or equivalent. Desired candidates should have Full MRCOG membership and work as a senior registrar in the clinical elements of the job.This would typically suit anyone wishing to undertake further training in a medical specialty and education prior to or as part of an Out of Programme Experience (OOPE) from their Specialist Registrar training programme, or a Post CCT/ CESR doctor looking to develop their CV ahead of applying for consultant jobs. Successful candidates must have experience working in the NHS. For the latter prior agreement must be sought with the relevant Specialty Training Committee (STC) and Deanery.
