Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a property lawyer to join the Council’s highly regarded Property and Conveyancing Team as part of the Commercial Legal Service. You will be part of a very experienced, high performing team committed to delivering high quality advice and support to our client services. The work undertaken by the team is many and varied and accordingly the post offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the legal work of a local authority. You will be comfortable using a computerised case management system.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Solicitor with a real passion for public service having previous experience and a genuine and demonstrable interest in this area of work.

Requirements

This post requires a Disclosure Check and where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
